Research Communities

As part of our mission, we have established research communities that focus on the key problems affecting the world. Research communities are faculty-led collaborative efforts that are enabled by the Ken Kennedy Institute. Our research areas address gaps in health, climate change, disaster relief, sustainability, energy, social sciences, humanities, and equity. We develop novel technologies in AI theory, machine learning and optimization, large-scale science simulation, and computational engineering to solve these global challenges.
